Calgary Dance Stampede, 5 Fast Facts;
- Largest and Longest Running Country, West Coast Swing and Line Dance Event in Canada! Created in 1992 and first event ever sanctioned by the UCWDC outside the United States.
- Voted the "Favorite North American Event". First time a Canadian Dance Event was honored with this award by the United Country Western Dance Council.
- Host to over 100 competitors from all over North America & Europe competing for over $10,000 in cash and prizes. Over 70% of those competitors are local dancers.
- We entertain over 1,350 spectators and participants over our 4 days.
- We are home to and produce a Saturday night ‘Campfire Ball’ Professional Dance Showcase. One of Canada's largest dance variety shows that seats over 650 attendees.
