Thank You! | |
We want to express our most sincere appreciation to all that attended the 2019 Calgary Dance Stampede. Whether you competed, attended workshops and social dances, joined us for the sold-out Campfire Ball dinner and professional showcase, volunteered or just came to watch, your energy and interaction were inspirational. Many think that the Calgary Dance Stampede’s purpose is to promote competition, but we really feel that the primary goal of the event is to bring people together, to create interaction and excitement across the many different dance forms (Country, Line Dance and West Coast Swing) offered, to build a united dance community that is open to sharing information and their passion for dance with others and to inspire new dancers to develop the same passion and dedication that many of us have. Your presence helped us make this year’s event a great success! We wish you all the best and hope that you continue to be involved in the dance community, local or international and at any level for many years to come. None of this would be possible without the members of our planning committee /core staff who contribute countless hours building the event throughout the year in the hopes that it will create lasting memories for all that attend.
Finally, thank you Ricardo Mejia for being on-site and shooting all the competition photography; Florin Raducan for videotaping all the solo videos, professional showcase and workshops; Ian Macleod and Mark Seels for shooting social shots throughout the weekend; and FloDance for streaming our event to the World! |
