Interested in competing but don't know where to start ??  The Alberta Amateur Country Dance Contest (AACDC) is a "Grass Roots" dance contest that was created to promote Country Dance competition at a local amateur level.

Two Step, West Coast Swing & Line Dance

Any amateur dancer, at any dance level may enter and dance in the AACDC. Dancers my compete as a couple in Two Step and West Cost Swing or as an individual in Line Dance. Local dancers throughout Alberta bars, dance halls and studios will compete for the coveted 2012 Alberta Title. Preliminary and Semi-Final Rounds will be held at locations throughout Alberta and the Finals will be held at the 2012 Calgary Dance Stampede, April 28, 2012 in Calgary at the Calgary Dance Stampede in the Hyatt Regency hotel.

 

Cash and Prizes totaling over $5,000 will be up for grabs this year !!
